EZ Air Flex Shield PAPR for Industrial Respiratory Protection
The EZ Air Flex Shield PAPR respirator system is a motorized powered air purifying respirator designed for environments where respiratory, eye, and face protection are required at the same time. It delivers a constant flow of filtered air across the user’s breathing zone, creating positive pressure that helps keep hazardous particulates away.
Because it offers an Assigned Protection Factor (APF) of 25, this PAPR respirator system is ideal for grinding, sanding, painting, facility maintenance, and machine operations.
Durable Grinding Shield with Wide Viewing Area
The headtop assembly is constructed from DuPont® flame-retardant nylon that resists cracking, deformation, and temperature extremes. In addition, the large viewing lens provides excellent visibility while accommodating safety glasses underneath.
The integrated Air Train system directs airflow across the head and breathing zone. As a result, fogging is minimized while comfort is improved during extended wear.
Advanced Blower and HEPA Filtration System
The EZ Air Flex Shield PAPR uses a lightweight ABS blower that weighs only 1.7 lbs and operates quietly at approximately 65 dB. An 8-speed fan allows users to adjust airflow, delivering a minimum of 170 LPM (6 CFM).
Furthermore, the NIOSH-approved HEPA filter removes 99.97% of particulates larger than 0.3 microns, including dust, steel, manganese, chromium, galvanized steel, cadmium, and lead.
Reliable Battery Power with Safety Alarms
A rechargeable 7.4V lithium-ion battery powers the system for up to 8 hours at minimum speed or 6 hours at maximum speed. Audible, visual, and vibration alarms alert the user to low battery, reduced airflow, or missing filters.
Therefore, workers can remain protected without unexpected interruptions.
Comfortable Fit with Adjustable Headgear and Shroud
The shield features durable Pera-Lok ratcheting headgear with an ultra-soft replaceable sweatband. A fire-retardant cotton face seal and neck shroud provide full coverage while remaining lightweight and breathable.
In addition, the flexible breathing tube uses quick-disconnect bayonet couplers for fast assembly and easy maintenance.
