The Little Giant Dark Horse ladder combines multiple ladder configurations into one durable, professional-grade climbing solution. Because the ladder is constructed from durable, non-conductive fiberglass, it is particularly well suited for jobs performed around electrical hazards. Additionally, Little Giant’s distinctive Hi-Viz green fiberglass improves ladder visibility on busy jobsites, helping workers and others more easily recognize the ladder while it is in use.

Four Configurations in One Multi-Position Ladder

Instead of transporting several dedicated ladders to the jobsite, the Dark Horse 2.0 adapts to different tasks and working environments. It can be configured in A-frame, extension, staircase, and 90-degree wall positions, providing flexibility for everything from open work areas to stairs and locations close to walls.

Non-Conductive Hi-Viz Fiberglass Construction

The Little Giant Dark Horse ladder uses Little Giant’s Hi-Viz green fiberglass construction. The bright green material is designed to make the ladder easier to see in active work environments, where improved visibility can help reduce accidental contact with equipment.

More importantly, the fiberglass construction is non-conductive, making the Dark Horse especially useful for electrical work and other applications where workers may encounter live current. The material combines electrical protection with the durability required for demanding professional jobsites.

Stable, Jobsite-Ready Design

A wide-flared base increases side-tip stability, helping provide a more secure climbing platform when working at height. The ladder also features non-marring feet that provide traction on different surfaces while helping protect finished flooring from scuffs and marks.

The Dark Horse 2.0 carries a Type IA 300 lb duty rating and meets or exceeds applicable OSHA and ANSI standards. In the A-frame configuration, both sides are rated to 300 lbs, allowing two users to work from the ladder simultaneously.

Additionally, the ladder can be converted into a trestle-and-plank system with compatible accessories, which are sold separately. This gives professionals another way to adapt the ladder to jobs requiring a wider working area.
